Today I will share with you how to reduce power dbm for AP8030DN.
Issue Description
Device: AP8030DN with AC6005-8
Version: V200R007C20SPC300
Description: The customer has 7 FIT APs that are connected to an AC6005-8. He would like to reduce the power/dBm of one AP, model AP8030DN to the lowest possible.

Solution
Since the AP is an outdoor one this has a hardware limitation to reduce the power to not less than 8 dBm.
The command to do so is below:
# Set the transmit power to 3 dBm for radio 0 of AP 1.

Info: The EIRP value takes effect only when automatic transmit power selection is disabled, and the value depends on the AP specifications and local laws and regulations.
So even if customer choose 3 dBm the actual EIRP will remain 8, minimum supported for this AP.
