Common method for locating a video recording fault:
Log in to the C/S client. Check whether live video viewing is normal when video recording is interrupted.
If yes, obtain the fault information.
If artifacts or frame freezing occurs, go to the next step.
Log in to the camera Web page. Check whether live video viewing is normal when video recording is interrupted.
If no, the camera or network is faulty. If the network is not faulty, contact the camera vendor to locate the fault.
If yes, go to the next step.
Check whether the camera frequently goes online and offline.
Log in to the C/S client. On the workspace, choose NMS > Alarms > Alarm Query.
Set the alarm type to IPC going offline. Check whether the camera is offline when video recording is interrupted.
