Recording download doesnot support

Hi guys!

In this post, I will explain the procedure to solve the issue of Recording download doesn't support.

Problem Description

When trying to download a recorded video we found the below error:

Recording download does not support the video encoding format, the error code is 999119249.

Problem Analysis and Solution

We check this issue happen with how many camera's and we found it happens with all the third-party cameras only.
we checked the PU parameter and the video encoding of the camera we found it is MJPEG while the Huawei cameras is H.265
Therefore MJPEG is not supported for download video it is only for live video.
we just support H.264 and H.265
After we change it to H.264 issue is resolved

Note: Regarding the old recording which was already recorded using MJPEG it can be downloaded from the camera itself if it has an SD card.
