Hi,

Rate limiting is configured in the inbound directions on the switch interface. However, the test result shows that the rate limiting policy does not take effect on the interface.

The configuration is as below.

#

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/7

port link-type trunk

undo port trunk allow-pass vlan 1

port trunk allow-pass vlan 4000 to 4001 4005

traffic-policy p1 inbound

dhcp snooping enable

dhcp snooping trusted

#

Return

#

traffic classifier c1 operator and precedence 5

if-match vlan-id 4005

traffic classifier c2 operator and precedence 10

if-match vlan-id 4001

#

traffic behavior b1

car cir 50000 pir 150000 cbs 6250000 pbs18750000 mode color-blind green pass yellow pass red discard

remark dscp ef

statistic enable

traffic behavior b2

car cir 100000 pir 100000 cbs 12500000 pbs12500000 mode color-blind green pass yellow pass red discard

remark dscp af33

statistic enable

#

traffic policy p1

classifier c1 behavior b1

classifier c2 behavior b2

Hello,

The DHCP snooping trusted and traffic-policy inbound commands cannot be configured on an interface at the same time.

DHCP snooping trusted command allows all IP packets to pass through. This rule takes precedence over the traffic policy. As a result, rate limiting in the inbound direction of the interface does not take effect.
