Rate limiting based on IP addresses

Hey there,

Model: NE20E-S4 V800R009C10

Can the router perform independent rate limiting for a large number of IP addresses?

When the NE20 functions as the egress device, the rate of all intranet users (thousands of IP addresses) needs to be limited in a unified manner. If I want to set the rate of some IP addresses to 40 Mbit/s, after the traditional method is used, it is found that all IP addresses in the ACL  share the 40M bandwidth. Therefore, only a large number of ACL+ traffic policies can be configured. Is there any other method?

Hello,
The flow CAR function supports rate-limiting for flows with the source or destination IP addresses residing on a specified network segment.  To use the function, the device needs to be upgraded to V800R010C10 or later version.

Example

# Set the CIR to 2 Mbit/s for each flow with the source IP address residing on the network segment housing IP addresses ranging from 10.1.1.0 to 10.1.1.255.
