Radius and DNS / DHCP deployment issues

Hello,

In a WLAN system,  why cannot the Agile Controller and DNS/DHCP be deployed on the same server?

Does anyone know the reason? Thanks!

Hello,

The DNS service is a Windows system service, and the Portal service of the Agile Controller is an application service. When the server system is restarted, the DNS service is started earlier than the Agile Controller. The DNS service uses a random port during startup, and therefore the probability of occupying the authentication port (50100/50200) of the Agile Controller is low, if the IP address is occupied, the portal server cannot provide services properly. As a result, the portal authentication fails.
