Question about Huawei OSN 1500B

I have a OSN 1500B configured two Q5CXLL16(L-16.1,LC), does this mean that the OSN can support a total of 32 STM-1/8xSTM-4? This is assuming that the box has the ability to support 8 STM-4 interfaces.

One Q5CXLLN16 is for one hop (1 link end-to-end) and only can support 16xSTM-1 or 4xSTM-4.

To support 32xSTM-1 or 8xSTM-4, you have to make it 2 hop (2x link end-to-end) by using two Q5CXLLN.

The reason of providing two Q5CXLLN16 because to make 1+1 HSB Cross Connection. Or, to boost STM-16 client. For example, one Q5CXLLN16 make it as Line Unit + amplifier (use BPA board), while another one Q5CXLLN16 make it as Tributary unit.
