QoS Setting in HG8245H Modem

HG8245H supports only WMM, which is part of the 802.11e.



802.11e defines the Quality of Service (QoS) for the wireless LAN, which provides the required service quality for voice and multimedia applications and enhances the network performance. Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) defines four access categories (voice, video, best effort and background) to optimize the network communication quality and ensures the stable access of the corresponding applications to the network resources. The WMM standard is a subset of IEEE 802.11e.

In conclusion, HG8245H partially supports the 802.11e standard.

Hi, friend!
The HG8245H supports QoS. If QoS needs to be configured, the ONT QoS needs to be configured on the OLT. 

ONT cannot configure QoS by itself.
