Hi,

When the rate limit is configured, I find that two similar commands are available on the AR router: qos car and qor lr. What's the difference between the two commands?

Hi,
QoS CAR applies only to IP packets and limits the rate of incoming and outgoing packets.
The restrictions are as follows:
LAN-side interfaces of the 1.AR100&AR120&AR150&AR160&AR200 series, AR1220E, AR1220EV, and AR1220EVW are not supported. LAN-side interfaces of the AR100-S&AR110-S&AR150-S&AR160-S&AR200-S series and AR1220E-S are not supported.
The 2.4GE-2S and 4ES2GP-S cards do not support this function.

QoS LR can be applied to all types of packets that pass through a physical interface, but can only limit the rate at which data is sent in the outbound direction.
The restrictions are as follows:
1. Only WAN-side physical interfaces support this configuration.
2. The interface rate limit takes effect only after queues are configured on the interface.
