Q&A: What Are the SSH Versions Supported by the Firewall?

This post describes the SSH versions supported by the firewall.

By default, the earlier version-compatible function is disabled on the SSH server, and only V1.5 and V2.0 are supported.

The earlier version-compatible function of the SSH server is applicable to the protocol version negotiation between the client and server. After a TCP connection is set up between a client and a server, the client negotiates with the server on a version that both the client and server support.

The server compares its own version with that sent by the client and determines whether it can work with the client.
