What to check?

• Optical Environment

Can be checked by log on ONT or OLT oroptical power meter

• Configurations

Should be checked in both ONT and OLT

• OAM or OMCI messages

Show the communication between ONT and OLT, contain lots of trouble shooting information

• PON and LOS indicator

Show the state of the ONT
