Q&A: How to View the Deleted Files in the System?

Latest reply: Dec 24, 2018 01:30:19 993 4 2 0
The device provides the recycle bin. The file that is deleted through the delete command can be saved in the recycle bin. The file is deleted permanently if you run the delete/unreserved command.
The dir command does not display the files that are placed into the recycle bin. The files in the recycle bin can be displayed through the dir/all command only. The name of the file in the recycle bin is bracketed by square brackets ([]).

Great article.
However, I’ve noticed that displayed or modified contents of the recicle-bin depends on the directory context (current working directory). For example I would expect that reset recycle-bin of the root dir or of the storage device itself wipes out all deleted files on the storage device. Unfortunately it erases only files in the current directory context. The same happens when it comes to displaying of the recycle bin.
I find it a bit confusing. I might think, that I have erased all deleted files on the flash and yet there can be many in sudirectories ;)
Regards, Piotr

As you said this files are located in the recible-bin directory.
It is important knnow how to clean this directory:
delete /u filename - Delete Permanently
dir /all - Display all files including the ones deleted without /u
reset recible-bin
- clean all the files deleted permanently
