lThe process for an agent to call a trunking group is the same as that for calling a trunking terminal.
lWhen an agent places a call to a trunking terminal, the IPCC system first calls the agent. After the call is set up, the system finds the trunking terminal based on the called number and initiates a call to the terminal.
1.An agent (that is, a dispatcher) initiates a call request.
2.The CTI/EDS receives the call request and sends it to the voice gateway.
3.The voice gateway calls the agent's IP phone.
4.The IVR server sends a request for calling the trunking terminal to the voice gateway.
5.The voice gateway sends the call request to the trunking system using the call prefix. The trunking system then searches for the called number and calls the trunking terminal.
6.The call between the IP phone and trunking terminal is set up successfully.
