Problem with H902MPLA Control Board in Active/Standby Failed Status

Hi guys, how are you?

I hope someone can help me with this problem. I've received a MA5800x7 from the customer saying the MPLA board can't be confirmed.

I've found that they are both in Active_failed / Standby_failed.

Below the display commands (Standy was removed, so it is offline, but it has the same problem)

  Status of the board software packetfile:active


I wonder if this is a problem of missing io-packetfile for this board.

I´ve open the FW loaded with the pack tool and the board files seems to be there (Picture attached).

However, when unpacking the FW, the files inside do not have files for 902mpla. They have for 901mpla instead. (Picture attached).


Any idea? Because I don´t have a clue!!

I've looked at the information you provided, and according to that information:


The main control board is faulty.


Perform the following steps:


1. Remove the board in slot 9 and reset the system. Then, insert the board in slot 8 and check whether the board can be active.


2. If the board cannot be activated by performing the preceding operations, insert the removed board into slot 9 and check whether the board can be activated.


3. If the board cannot be active after the preceding operations are performed, and need to replace the board (H902MPLA) in slot 9.

Hi guys, sorry for the late reply. I was out of the office for some days. I will collect the info you requested and share the logs.
For now, everything related to the standby board will not be available since I can´t confirm the board.

1.- Remove the board in slot 9 , and leave board in slot 8 to become active and see if it can be activated???

Hi Chenxintao, I´m back after having COVID for 2nd time !!.
I´ve run some test, it is all detail in the attached link.


Basically, I think the board in slot 9 is faulty, but I prefer your feedback. When you leavy only board in SLOT 8 in place it becomes Active_Normal.
I will test one more thing, to put board from slot 8 into slot 9 (alone without suspicious board) and see if the result is the same.
