problem with Ftth Modems

Hello,

I have MA5608T Huawei Olt...

I have problem with fiberhome Ftth modem, the model  is AN5506-04-Fs..

so when im going to add or edit profile of configuration , it is not possible( maybe it is lock for changing )( I want to run the modem as pppoe connection.and I can not see the feature of editing or adding)...for your information my olt is Huawei and i haven't any problem with the others modem s like Huawei... could u please advice me how can i solve my problem, maybe upgrading firmware or something like this ?

The model of the FTTH modem you provide is not a Huawei product.

The third-party ONT connected to the OLT is a non-standard network. Different regions have different requirements. Therefore, the interoperability between the OLT and the OLT must be strictly tested.
For details, contact the local Huawei office or call the Huawei hotline.

U mean the huawei Olt, only can support huawei modem?
For example it does 'nt work with Fiberhome or other brands?
Is it lock for the other brands or something else?

This does not mean that Huawei OLTs do not support third-party ONTs. However, if third-party ONTs are used, the networking mode is non-standard. The requirements vary with regions. The interoperability between the OLT and the ONT must be strictly tested. I cannot directly determine whether the interoperability is applicable. It is recommended that you consult your local Huawei office or call Huawei hotline for details.
