• Follow first two steps to solve first problem permanent occupation

• Follow next one to know how to connect your analog Phones ( POTS ) correct whether with OSU board or ASI board.

1. Pin Assignments of Subscriber Cables
This topic describes the mappings between cable pins and ports when high-density subscriber cables are connected to the ASI and OSU boards.
Cable Description
A high-density subscriber cable consists of four groups of wires, with each group tied with blue or orange adhesive tapes. A wire group consists of 8 wire pairs. Each pair contains two twisted cores of different colors. When making wire pairs, select twisted cores within the same wire group. Figure 1 shows a high-density subscriber cable.

• Follow second step because you should create POTS Users NOT SIP Users

2. Allocating Numbers for POTS Users

1. Choose User > POTS User.
2. Configure user information on the Add Number tab page, as shown in Figure 1.
3. Click OK.
The Manage number page is displayed. On this page, you can view, delete and edit the configured user numbers.
4. Click Load Configuration.
5. In the upper right corner of the configuration wizard, click Data Save.
If you do not save the data, the data configured will be lost after the device restart.

• Follow third step to avoid LOW VOICE ( low tone ).

3. Volume Is Low or High
Procedure
1. See LMT-based Login and Configuration to log in to the LMT and access the command tree configuration mode.
Enter the command in the complete command input area, and click Run.
2. If an IP Phone is used, press the arrow keys to adjust the volume to check whether the fault is rectified.
If the fault persists, go to the next step.
3. If an IAD is used, change the outgoing sending and receiving gain to check whether the fault is rectified. For example, the IAD132E(T).
a. Run the display pstnport attribute n command to view the sending and receiving gain.
b. TERMINAL>display pstnport attribute 0
c.    Port type   Gain( dB )                      Pulse Dial    Polarity   V21TLen
d. (s)
e.   ------------------------------------------------------------------------
0   FXS   Sending gain 0, receiving gain -2   Disabled      Reversal      0
f. Run the dsp send-gain <2-64> command (sending gain) and dsp recv-gain <2-64> command (receiving gain) to change gains.
If the fault persists, go to the next step.
4. If the fault still persists, collect the fault information and send it to Huawei technical support engineers. For the contact information, see Technical Support.
5. If you have performed the preceding steps, make a call to check whether the fault is rectified.
If the volume is proper, the fault is rectified.
