Problem when I saved configuration

Dear,


I have a problem. I have five switchs in stack model S5720-28X-PWR-LI-AC. When a try to save all configuration two of switch have a problem to save. See the message below.

As i see you have enough space,but can't be enough space on master or standby devices.You can find the my recommendations


1-) Connect master device run display saved-configuration command to see if the configs are saved even though there is error
2-) Check master and standby memory
3-) Try only save command instead of save all when you connect master
4-) Try to save your config file *cfg instead of *zip
5-) Upgrade your software version and patch into the recommended versions,i've encountered a few bugs about config files saving.
6-) It can be flash or harddisk hardware issue,if none of the above doesn't solve your problem,please contact with country TAC team

Hi, 

Sapte has provided comprehensive locating methods. Here's another possible reason I've seen for this: the configuration file is write-protected. This may be caused by inappropriate configuration. For example,  the http server load flash:/vrpcfg.zip command is incorrectly used to load it as the web page file. 

Try to save the configuration to another file, for example:
save vrpcfg_new.zip

Hi VMMansur,

Do you also have problems to delete files on those 2 slots ?
If so, there could be a hardware failure of the flash and it's needed to replace them. Also I saw a known issue for your switch series solved in V2R11:

patch


If you have issues to delete files from those slots, it is better to contact service hotline(http://e.huawei.com/en/service-hotline) , it may be possible that upgrade not solving the issue.
