Hi,

We are trying to get our AR routers to boot from a file downloaded from an FTP server. Once the file is imported onto the flash and we do a "more startup.cfg" to check the file it has indented the config. If i look at the file in a text editor it is fine with no indents.

The router will also not boot the config. We have set the startup correctly. Not sure if the indented config is causing the router not too boot with the saved config correct.

 Startup saved-configuration file:          flash:/startup.cfg

  Next startup saved-configuration file:     flash:/startup.cfg

Hello,
I don't think 'indents' will infect the configuration. Why are the 'indents' added when editing the configuration file?

Please check whether the name of the configuration file uploaded to the device is the same as the original configuration file name. If so, do not save the configuration when restarting the device.

Also, try changing the encoding of the file on the server-side.

Thanks, is this a known issue with the software?

This was resolved with an updated software version, the indents are still there but the router is booting with the file now :)

I think this 'indents' might be a problem with the tool you used to display it. Maybe you can try another tool.
