Dear All,

I have a NE20 configured to authenticate PPPoE users with dual stack, sending by pool ipv4, ipv6 wan and ipv6 PD. All is

working fine, but when a client use a Mikrotik router to PPPoE client, it not receive the PD delegation.

With Huawei and FiberHome ONU we receive PD normaly.

Mikrotik is using SLAAC to wan and NDRA to PD.

Good day!

I've already encountered this problem before and solved it using the following steps:

  • On ipv6 prefix prefixo_wan local you need to increase the prefix from /64 to /50 or larger. After this, you include on this ipv6 prefix the slaac-unshare-mode command.

  • On ipv6 prefix prefixo_lan delegation you need to include the pd-unshare-only command.

  • Inside the Domain you have to include ipv6 nd autoconfig managed-address-flag.

After implementing these changes, it was possible to receive PD on the Mikrotik clients.

Is the above configuration for NE20?Is there a configuration for Mikrotik router?

In Mikrotik we only configure the PPPoE client normaly and create a DHCPv6 server to distribute the PD that have to be sent by NE20. When we are using the same configuration and connect to a MIKROTIK or CISCO as server we can't see the same problem.

prefix 2804:xxx:0:F000::/50
slaac-unshare-mode

ipv6 prefix prefixo_lan delegation
prefix 2804:xxx:80::/42 delegating-prefix-length 56
pd-unshare-only
#
ipv6 pool lan_pppoe bas delegation
dns-server 2804:xxx:0:1000::2
