Hi
dear,
The
GIS service networking is as follow:

·
On an enterprise network, the GIS function is implemented by the
dispatching system, terminals, and GIS server.
·
After the eDC subscribes to the terminals whose GPS switches are
turned on, if the GIS report function on the eUDC660 Management System is
selected, the terminals start to search for satellite signals. The terminal
reports its GIS information to a GIS server using short data channels. The GIS
server identifies the eDC to which the terminal is subscribed and forwards the
GIS information of the terminal to it. In this manner, a dispatcher can locate
the terminal on the GIS map of the eDC. In addition, when a special event (such
as an emergency call) occurs, the GPS report switch of the terminal will be
turned on automatically, triggering a GIS report.
·
The GIS server delivers GISCFG parameters to the
terminal. Configure GIS parameters (GIS report interval and GIS
reported distance interval) on the eUDC.
·
Query the GIS subscription information on the WebUI.
