I conducted a webinar on IP for Next-generation technologies such as 5G, IoT (IPv6) organized by Huawei Enterprise Support Community on September 24th, 2020,

It was my first Session on Huawei's Community, but Webinar was very well undergone and 200 participants joined around the world with 150+ unique users, as IPv6 is need of time and due to effective marketing.

One of the key features of this program that it has been a regular initiative from the Huawei for supporting the community, where many presenters apply for sessions but only a few get selected after thorough audit & evaluation.

In this webinar session starting with the requirement of IPv6 in the advent of new emerging technologies like 5G & IoT(Internet of Things), then we discussed
· What is IPv6
· Need for IPv6,
· the structure of the IPv6 address, the network portion, the interface ID, and the network prefix.
· The function of the different types of IPv6 addresses: global unicast, link-local, unique local, and anycast.
· How SLAAC works in IPv6 address auto-configuration along with EUI-64 to auto-configure the interface-id.
After that a comprehensive Lab session for configuring IPv6 on Huawei Routers using eNSP (Enterprise Network Simulation Platform)
o Enabling IPv6
o Configuring basic IPv6 addressing using manual commands
o Automatic assignment of IPv6 using Stateless address autoconfiguration (SLAAC)
Also, a live session for Questions & Answers was conducted, where many participants asked.
In the end, Three questions were shared for Community to answer the following 3 questions and get a chance to win a $20 Amazon.com gift card total worth of $200.

In the last, I would like to thank Huawei Enterprise Support Community for giving me the opportunity to demonstrate myself and sharing my knowledge and I will be pleased to deliver a lecture again for serving community. Looking forward to more such events regularly, where we can learn and share practical knowledge of network operations and get a chance of further enhancement.
Also special gratitude to @stephen.xu and @elena_z for the arrangements.
