Hello everyone,

As described in document, N+1 back up mode has no special requirements for the installation position of the power module and does not require special software configuration. The default power module backup mode is power module mode. I have a question: I have a CE12804 here. The CE12804 has four power slots and two power modules, which can be installed in any position? If the default configuration is used, the N+1 backup mode is used to implement power module redundancy, I do not need to configure the software. Right?

Hi WDNJSQ,
The power module is inserted and no other settings are required. Note that some chassis support both PoE and non-PoE. Therefore, power modules must be inserted into the corresponding PoE slots. Otherwise, the PoE function cannot be used.
