This post will tell you one issue for power Abnormal alarm not appearing on PIU of OSN 3500.
Problem description
19th PIU of OSN 3500 not reporting Power_ Abnormal alarm.
Handling procedure
Rectifier cables changed and later swapped. Alarm observed successfully on 18th slot before and after cables swap PIU Cards swapped and again Alarm observed successfully on 18th slot but not on 19th slot PIU
It was guessed that there is some problem in intra board communication so replaced the AUX board and issue resolved.
Root cause
As PIU communicate with control card through the AUX card and due to some fault in AUX inter-board communication board was affected and PIU was not reporting any alarm.
Solution
Replaced Faulty AUX board.
