Problem description


POS machines unable to connect to the servers via a WDS link.


Network Topology


We have a problem for this kind of machines passing through the WDS link. POS cannot ping the server using WDS link. But when we try using a laptop, it can ping the server.


From the AC, I can see the MAC-Address of the POS machines but cannot look up on the ARP Table.


Then I wireshark from the AC - I can see the ARP packets from the POS Machines to the POS Server but no reply from the server.


There are also ARP Packets from the POS Server to the POS Machines but no reply from the POS Machines.

As you said, when capturing the packets on the AC, you can view the ARP packets from the POS machines to the POS server, but no reply packets are observed.

Do these ARP request packets send to the POS server, but the server doesn't reply to the request, or are the packets just discarded by the AC?

In the first case, please check the configuration on the POS server.

In the second case, please check the AC configuration.
