Hi friend,
1. The device at the other end of the remote connection network cable is turned off and not turned on.
2. The network cable is disconnected somewhere.
3. This port of the switch is damaged or has poor contact.
4. The net head on the network cable is incorrectly made, and it is not made in accordance with the standard line sequence, resulting in failure to connect.
5. Restart the switch or log in to the switch and use the command display interface brief to check whether the port status is UP.
6. Enter below the port and undo shutdown all the ports.
If the above troubleshooting method still fails, then the port is damaged, and it is recommended to replace the device.
Hope to help you!
