  Rewarded Hi-coins: 0 (problem resolved)

The customer has two servers which are connected to two S7706s. To prevent loops, port isolation is enabled on the switch VLAN. Now two servers need to communicate with each other through the same VLAN. Is there any method without deleting port isolation?

Hi Hobbit,

To implement Layer 2 communication, you must delete port isolation.

If only Layer 3 interworking is required, you can change the port isolation mode to Layer 2 isolation and Layer 3 interworking.

port-isolate mode l2

Or use the ARP proxy to implement Layer 3 communication in the VLAN.

arp-proxy inner-sub-vlan-proxy enable
