Port forwarding on HS8145C

This process is called forwarding or opening a port. In your Huawei EchoLife HS8145C router you many need to open a port which means assigning a port number or set of port numbers to a specific IP address. This routes the incoming data to the correct device on your network.

The following steps will show you how to open ports on the Huawei EchoLife HS8145C router:

1- Setup a static IP address on the device or computer you are forwarding these ports to.

2- Go ahead and log in to your Huawei EchoLife HS8145C router.

3- Make your way to the Port Mapping section of the Huawei EchoLife HS8145C router.

• Find the Advanced Settings tab at the top of the screen and click it.

• Find the Port Mapping tab located near the left of the screen and click it.

 4- Create a Port Mapping entry.
