I am interested in the PON situation in China.

Which PON technology is mostly used? What is a typical number of the split? In how many levels? How is the network implemented - underground or aerial installations? Are drop cables with connectors mainly used, to avoid fusion splicing? Which type of ONTs are used the most? Is remote OLT used and in what situations?
