before creating the task, validate that the following prerequisites have been met:

Before using the U2000 to migrate PON services, you need to check resources. Service migration can be performed only when resources are ready.

Configuring PON Service Transfer

Prerequisites

• Preparations for service migration have been performed. For details, see Preparations Before Migration
• Ensure that the tl1_translator process has started. For details about how to start a process manually, see the Monitoring the U2000 Processes section in U2000 Administrator Guide.
• The PON migration policy PON_Migration_EPON_Policy or PON_Migration_GPON_Policy has been enabled

1. Choose Configuration > FTTx Service Pre-Deployment > Customize Service Provision Management from the main menu.
2. choose Policy Management from the navigation tree.
