Please help me switch ap6010dn-agn to FAT

Hi all, new here, not sure if I am at the right place.


I have bought a used AP and would like to use it as an AP for a small office. I have reset it and was able to connect via Putty (SSH). model: ap6010dn-agn  version:  V200R010C00SPCa00


The problem is, it will not react to commands such as ap-mode-switch fat or ap-mode-switch check

If you're aware of what next steps should be taken so that I can use the AP in FAT mode, I would really apprecialte your help and direction.

The version needed to be downgrade to V200R005C10. you can find the firmware for V200R005C10 on the support website(https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/wlan/ap6010dn-agn-fat-pid-20977989/software?offeringId=22039827).

AP-mode switch FAT
This command is used to change the ap mode
But you need the FAT version software of the AP

Hey, thanks for your answer!
I have tried to downgrade my AP to an older version:

upgrade version ftp FatAP6X10XN_V200R005C10SPCa00.bin xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxx login password
it started but then interrupted and said "Upgrade failed due to version mismatch"

What am I doing wrong?
