Ping mac-address version Routers/Switch

Hello everyone,

i was wondering if it's possible to use the ping mac utility from any kind of routers/switches or it must be enabled only on some fw versions.

The syntax is this:

ping mac mac-address vlan vlan-id [ interface interface-type interface-number | -c count | -s packetsize | -t timeout | -p priority-value ] *


I'm practicing with a AR1200 router model and V200R008C00SPC102T fw version.
