ping loss once add more loads

【Problem Description】


The switch is running now at its optimum. Now once we add more customer networks now , the switch starts to ping loss ( CPU utilization never reaching to 60% , which is “huawei” suggested optimum level ) with CPU utilizations  notmore than 40 %  to 42 %, that means its starts to fail once its CPU is 42%only.


【Problem Analysis】

suggest customer adjust the CPCAR value as follow to avoidpacket loss:

When the CPU usage of the device is too high, you can observe whether the device or network has the following conditions:
Whether the CPU usage of the device is continuously high or instantaneously high. The momentary increase may be caused by an operation, such as the device just starting up, reading the optical module information at a certain point in time, increasing the instantaneous traffic, etc., generally does not affect the operation of the device.
Check what task process caused the CPU usage to be too high and analyze the task.
Check the log and alarm information to determine whether there is a hardware failure alarm.

hi author , i want to know protocol car value how to adjust ? i mean the value how to discern ?for example , arp-request threshold 1000 , this value whether effect the really arp-request packets ? if the arp-request discard by device , i think customer services will be impact .
