This post will explain how I performed patch update on a AC6005 WLAN.
Step 1: Verify the version information
*This is to check the current version and if it matches the new patch.
Step 2: Verify if a patch is already installed.
*This is just to double check if the current patch is already installed.
Step 3: Check the device and service status of the WLAN.
*This is to check if WLAN is running normally.
Step 4: Download the patch from https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/wlan/ac6005-pid-8629933/software/.
Step 5: Transfered the patch from my PC to the AC6005 via the TFTP server
Step 6: Activate the patch
*This is the last step, it's done!
Test and verification
Step 1: Check whether the AC6005 has the patch installed
Step: 2: Check whether the APs connected to the AC are running normally
Step 3: Check the temperature of the AC6005
