PCs which connect to the same router can't access each other

Hello all,

topology as PC1-------(g0/0/1)AR router(g0/0/2)-------PC2

why the PC1 cann't ping PC2?

I have checked the configuration on PC1 and PC2, both of them can ping the gateway address, but can't ping each other.

Does anyone know the reason? Thanks!

Hello@user_3333793,

Do you want the PCs to be in different VRFs? If so, you can refer to this example I made in eNSP:


PCs which connect to the same router can't access each other-2891715-1


And the simply configure them on both interfaces:
 
#
interface GigabitEthernet0/0/0 
 ip binding vpn-instance vpna 
 ip address 192.168.1.254 255.255.255.0 
#
interface GigabitEthernet0/0/1 
 ip binding vpn-instance vpnb 
 ip address 192.168.2.254 255.255.255.0 
#

Please check if it's also working for you.

or you can check if there are traffic filter or traffic policy which ban the traffic between PC1 and PC2
