Configuring PIN-Code-based Call Barring
1. Use an administrator account to log in to the web management system of a U1900 series unified gateway.
2. Choose User > Global Service > Call Restriction .
3. On the Call restriction type tab page, select PIN-Code and click OK to enable the service of call barring based on the PIN-Code.
4. Click Create and create a PIN-code account and password.
A user can use this account and password to make calls based on the call permission. For example, you can configure a PIN-code account for making national and international toll calls,
5. Add the PIN-code-based call barring service permission for a user.
You can add the service permission for users in a batch. Users with PIN-code accounts and passwords can use the PIN-code-based call barring service on any phones with the service permission enabled. The procedure is the same as that in configuring the service of call barring based on the simple card number.
a. Choose User > SIP User or User > POTS User.
b. Click corresponding to a number.
c. Set Password call limit to Yes and click OK.
6. Add the password-based call barring attribute to a prefix.
a. Choose Trunk > Called Prefix Configuration.
b. Click corresponding to the prefix for which you want to configure call barring and set Password call limit to Yes.
For example, to restrict the international toll call permission, set Password call limit to Yes for prefix 900.
7. In the upper right corner of the web page, click to save the configuration.
