When you log in to the U2000 LCT, a message is displayed indicating that the password has expired, and you need to reset the password.
1. Choose Administration > OSS Security > OSS User Management from the main menu (traditional style), or double-click Security Management in Application Center and choose OSS Security > OSS User Management (application style).
2. In the NMS User Management navigation tree, expand the User node, right-click the user whose password is to be reset, and choose Reset Password from the shortcut menu.
3. In the Reset Password dialog box, set New Password and Confirm Password, and click OK.
Description:
If User must change password upon next login is selected, the user must change the password upon next login to the U2000 LCT client. If you do not select this parameter, the user does not need to change the parameter when you log in to the U2000 LCT client next time. You are advised to select Change the password upon next login to improve U2000 LCT system security.
4. Click OK in the Prompt dialog box.
