On the 2nd of July, Spain Enterprise organized its 2nd edition of the Huawei Partner ICT Competition in Madrid. The main purpose of this event was to enhance cooperation with partners and promote service solution as well as Huawei Certification in the ICT field.
More than 60+ partner engineers registered and in total 40+ engineers from 20 + 1 (CSP+ASP) Key partners participated in this competition. This whole-day event was a big success in terms of deepening channel communication, attracting high-end ICT talents, and promoting Huawei’s product and service solutions as well as Huawei certification value in the local market.
The event kicked off by the welcome speech given by Yorke Xiang, Iberia Enterprise Service Director, who warmly welcomed all and talked about the fast development of the ICT field and its greater significance for the business. After the overview of the latest Huawei innovations presented by IT Solution Director José Concepción, IP and IT workshops were respectively hosted by Fernando Jaime and Zhaolin Sui, emphasizing our newest technologies and solutions, as well as how Joint POC Lab works and its benefits for partners and customers. Moreover, the partners got the opportunity of getting a closer understanding of the Service Quality Alignment thanks to Yichi Wang, WEU Channel Service Manager.
The competition covered 4 tracks in Presales and Post-sales IP and IT, and not only CSP engineers but also ASP engineers were in the contest, testing their skillsets together for the first time. The CTO of 5-star CSP thought this high-level meeting was a good chance to develop professional skills and maintain a good relationship between Huawei and Partners, and also enhance Huawei's market sales and brand awareness.
The big winners of the competition
Juan José Sancho from Alora won the first prize of the pre-sales IP track, and Jose Javier Alonso Gonzalez from Sermicro won the first prize of the pre-sales IT track. Enrique Belinchón from Vodafone won 1st place on post-sales IP track and Jesús Arranz Sanz from COS won the post-sales IT track. The top 2 company awards belong to Sermicro and Coreun.
