Parental Control on HG8245H Is Not Working

The possible cause is that the HG8245H version is too early. The HG8245H does not support HTTPS filtering in the early stage.

Do you find that URL filtering cannot be performed when you set URL filtering to filter HTTPs?

If the URL is an HTTP URL, the device supports HTTPS filtering.

If HTTP is also not supported, the configuration is incorrect.

1) Many similar cases described on the forum led to one solution - updating the firmware!
2) AND If you have high permissions but cannot change the configuration - contact your ISP!
