Pair statuses are inconsistent in a remote replication consistency group

Hi, all

I access the CLI and runs the show consistency_group member command to view information about pairs in a remote replication consistency group. The Running status values of the pairs are inconsistent. Thank you for help.

Hello Axe,

A controller reset maybe occurs during operations on the remote replication consistency group.

After a controller becomes faulty, services are switched to the other controller. Switch services when remote replication fails.

  1. Check whether the pair status inconsistency is caused by a synchronization failure during an asynchronous remote replication.

  2. If the pair status inconsistency is caused by a synchronization failure, perform a synchronize operation again. Then, check whether the inconsistency problem is resolved. If the pair status inconsistency is not caused by a synchronization failure, check whether the pair status inconsistency is caused by a split failure during a synchronous remote replication.

  3. If the pair status inconsistency is caused by a split failure, synchronize and then split the remote replication in the consistency group.

  4. Then, check whether the inconsistency problem is resolved. If the inconsistency problem persists, do not make any further modifications to the fault environment, and contact Huawei technical support to resolve the problem.

I find the log: Failed to start to synchronize a remote replication and Failed to split a remote replication.
