Hi there!
Services are transiently interrupted for about 50 ms when they are distributed to the newly activated port.
The reason is that although the two NEs negotiate to reactivate the ports, the time difference in the transmission of LAG protocol packets between the two NEs and the activation status message sent from the NE side to the board side is also different. As a result, one NE has started to send packets through the newly added interface, but the peer NE has not enabled the newly activated interface to receive packets.
This transient interruption is a principal problem. It is similar to a service switchover. Although the original link and the new link are normal, the service is still interrupted.
Thanks!
