Hello, everyone!

This post talks about the issue that my P20 Pro SIP connection fails with Mobile Data. Please see below for more details.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

I have an NEC SL 2100 IPPBX deployed. SIP extensions are configured on it.

I am using a P20 Pro. I have installed the SIP phone app ST465 and have configured it to connect to my IPPBX.

The SIP app connects when I am using WiFi connection on my mobile. When I switch to Mobile Data (4G), the connection fails.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION

I have verified whether my colleagues who are using different handsets are able to connect with both WiFi and 4G Mobile Data of the same carrier that I am using.

Any clues on what could be causing the issue on my phone?

Thanks!

Dear @GuyArchie,

As per my understanding, you are using a third-party PBX and a third-party softphone. The only Huawei device is the smartphone.

So we expect you to ask the support team for help in the case of the PBX and the softphone.

Alternatively, you can check with our Consumer support team on your smartphone, or via the below link:

On the right bottom corner you will see 'Contact us',  then choose 'Online help'.
