Possible Causes

The power grid voltage drops dramatically or the power grid is short-circuited. As a result, the inverter transient output current exceeds the upper threshold and therefore the inverter protection is triggered.

Procedure

1. The inverter detects its external working conditions in real time. After the fault is rectified, the inverter automatically recovers.

2. If the alarm occurs frequently and affects the power production of the PV plant, check whether the output is short-circuited. If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support.

This alarm may be caused by unstable power grids. You need to respond to the local grid.

Please connect locally to your inverter (as an Installer) and then change it from General-EN50549-LV to General-IEC61727.

Then you can monitor it for few days to see how it behaves. Anyway, since 26/02/2021 13:13:19, it stopped to report any Output Overcurrent alarm.

Also, started with 28 Feb 2021, inverter had some DC Arc Fault alarms on string No.2, if still persist please ask the installer to check the installation on the DC side (both strings) to be sure that there is no problem (faulty DC cable, connector, water ingress etc).
