Hello, friend!
There are six levels of TCM. Multiple levels of TCM can overlap and nest. Each TCM6 to TCM1 occupies three bytes.

As shown in the figure, TCM1 is used for monitoring between A1 and A2, TCM2 is used for monitoring between B1 and B2, B3 and B4, and TCM3 is used for monitoring between C1 and C2. The definitions of these parts in the TCMi section are the same as the corresponding parts in the OTUk overhead SM, but the monitoring levels are different.

The most important overhead in the OTUk layer is the SM section, which can detect signal quality and includes three bytes.

TTI: A complete TTI requires 64 bytes. The 64-byte TTI signal should be aligned with the OTUk multi-frame. Each multi-frame is transmitted four times. The TTI signal consists of a 16-byte source access point identifier (SAPI), 16-byte destination access point identifier (DAPI), and 32-byte carrier-defined content.
Sites A and B transmit data. Both sites A and B can set the TTI to be sent and TTI to be received. In addition, the system also detects the received TTI.In normal cases, A sends signals to B. The actual TTI of B is the same as the TTI to be received. If they are different, a TIM error is reported.
BIP-8: used for OTUk bit error detection. Bit interleaved even check coding is used.OTUk BIP-8 is calculated for bits in the OPUk area in the ith OTUk frame, and the result is inserted into the OTUk BIP-8 overhead location of the (i+2)th OTUk frame.
BIAE/IAE/BDI: A sends a message to B. After receiving the message, B finds that the frame alignment is abnormal and sets the IAE to 1, indicating that the frame alignment is incorrect. During backhaul, the BIAE is set to 1011 to notify the A-frame alignment problem. On the contrary, if the reception is normal, the IAE is set to 0, and the BEI of B is the number of error blocks (BIP-8).The BDI is a backhaul signal. If the value is 1, the reverse signal fails (SF), and the value 0 indicates normally.
GCC0: overhead 0 of the general communication channel. It is used to support general communication between OTUk terminals and is a transparent channel. It can be used to transmit power monitoring signals.
RES: OTUk reserved bytes, reserved for future international standardization. Set this parameter to all 0s.
Thanks!
