OSPF process id is more likely the vpn-instance, the router marks the ospf process by the ospf process id. As the vpn-instance, the ospf porcess id isolates the different ospf process, for each ospf process, the ospf routing-table and the LSDB are independent. The route entries in the different process are isolated from each other, if two ospf process are enabled on a router, the LSAs wouldn’t be sychronised between the different ospf process.
Though the LSAs wouldn’t be synchronised between the different ospf process, the traffic forwarding between the different ospf process are allowed.
