The UCXCS and CCXCS cross-connect boards are equipped with the OFL button. Before replacing a UCXCS or CCXCS board, hold down the OFL button for 5 to 10 seconds and wait until the STATindicator on the board changes from steady green to blinking green and the ACTindicator on the board turns from steady green to off. You can remove the UCXCS/CCXCS cross-connect board only when the indicators are changed.There is no micro switch on the ejector lever of the CCXCS cross-connect board, and therefore no micro switch operation is involved

1. Yes, you can use 2*CXCS with 2* CXP. The screenshoots below are from HedEx for the NE version 100R019C10:

2. G404 will not work with only 2*CXP (1:1 Cross connection mode). However, G402 will work, so please have a look at this screenshoot also:
