earlier I solved problem with module RAU (rpc) where I did the same thing, I switch on the laser...

I do not kno how lasers were switched off...maybe the reason the electricity.

So, now, I can not switch laser in on position again ...I am working by NCE server, we monitoring both network MPLS and DWDM

Posted by adya at 2021-10-13 15:25 So, guys it was a good job. We solved the main my problem !and, can I ask why laser went down and wh ...

The optical amplifiers (OAs) have high output optical power. If the fiber connecting to the OA breaks, the OA will still emit light if the laser on the amplifier is not shut down. The intense light will cause injuries to maintenance personnel during fiber maintenance. To prevent personal injuries, the intelligent power adjustment (IPA) function promptly shuts down lasers on the affected OAs if the fiber breaks.

Disabling the IPA Process:

  1. In the NE Explorer, select the NE and choose Configuration > IPA Management from the Function Tree.

  2. Click Query to review the created IPA information. Find the corresponding IPA record and disable the IPA function.

1

After you successfully turn on the laser, activate the IPA function.

Dear friend!
Check whether the laser is occupied by IPA. If yes, disable the IPA function and then enable the laser.
If not, check whether other alarms are generated on the board. If yes, clear the alarms.
If the problem persists, please warm reset the board.
Thank you!
