Hello, everyone.
When I configure the orderwire phone of OSN7500II, I find that there is no configuration interface. What should I do?

Who can help me?

Thanks!

Dear user!

For the OptiX OSN 7500 II, the procedure for configuring orderwire phones is slightly different from that for configuring orderwire phones for other MSTP equipment.

The procedure is as follows:

1. For an OptiX OSN 7500 II device, in the NE Explorer, select an N3DX1 board and choose ConfigurationPort Management from the Function Tree. Click the Port Type Configurations tab and set the DDN-30 port type to EOW.

1

2. In the NE Explorer, select a NE and choose Configuration > Orderwire from the Function Tree. Click the General tab.

2

3. Click Query to query information from the NE.

4.Set Call Waiting Time(s), Telephone No. and orderwire ports.

  NOTE:

Call Waiting Time should be set to the same value for all NEs with orderwire communication. When the number of NEs is smaller than 30, set the value to 5 seconds. Otherwise, set it to 9 seconds.

5.Click Apply. A prompt appears telling you that the operation was successful.

6. Click Close.
