This post will tell you one issue for OSN 3500 visibility outage.


Problem description:

OSN 3500 NE visibility loss on NMS U2000.


Handling procedure:

> ECC count on NE was 70.
> Locally NE was accessible from Navigator and U2000.
> DCC bytes were normal and enabled.
> Check username found the issue.    


Root cause:

NE was added with the user which is not existing on the NE database.


Solution:

NE was added with the user which is not existing on the NE database. After logging the NE with the 'root' user it becomes visible on NMS U2000.
