You can insert the spare board into the corresponding slot. The device automatically identifies the slave MPU and does not need to be configured. Note that the software and hardware versions of the newly installed standby main control board must be the same as those of the existing active main control board.
In addition, if the new standby board has been used on other BTSs, that is, if the configuration data of other NEs exists in the board, you need to clear the original data by setting the DIP switch. The active MPU is usually installed in slot 18. You only need to install the standby MPU in slot 17.
