Origin & peer types in BGP

BGP may be used for routing within an autonomous system. In this application it is referred to as Interior Border Gateway Protocol, Internal BGP, or iBGP. In contrast, the Internet application of the protocol may be referred to as Exterior Border Gateway Protocol, External BGP, or eBGP.

@LSA hello, the items marked with IGP in the BGP routing table means the corresponding imported into the BGP through using command network, EGP means the entries are imported from the EGP protocol(this protocol was not no longer used ).

For the last question, as far as I know, BGP peer type includes IBGP peer and EBGP peer, and they are not BGP attributes.

thanks chenhui....in last question if we have route with local pref 130 & learn from external & same route with 200 local pref & internal .....then external will be prefered despiste local local pref is 200 of internal.........that means every external is prefered no attribute compared in that condition.??

there are two mistakes in you description.
1. Local preference wouldn't be transmitted to the EBGP peer, so the router would learn a route with local preference from the EBGP peer.
2. The routes with higher local preference is prefered.
